My work as a pediatric critical care physician (ICU) has given me an intimate perspective on life threatening illnesses and its impact on patients and their families. This experience prompted me to pursue additional specialty training in Hospice and Palliative Care. Acquiring adult-focused training has broadened my pain and symptom management expertise and has allowed me to gain significant experience working with the adult population.
